Abstract
The subject of the book is anorexia. It is not a book that described the specific eating disorder. “I Am Not Me” is the confession of a person who has experienced bulimia, anorexia nervosa and all that surrounds the mental and eating disorders of a young person.
It is the story of an ordinary girl doomed to live in a prison of mirrors, in lies and pain, in self-exile. Eternally cold, eternally hungry. All alone. She condemned herself to a lifetime of solitary confinement. She decided that her life had no value and no meaning. She attempted to kill herself. She hated him and wanted to die at all costs. But suddenly something strange happened, something unexpected. Just before she could do it, she changed her mind.
