Abstract
Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar is a writer who has reflected the phenomenon of beauty in various planes within aesthetic dimensions in his poems. What is seen in him is, above all, an understanding of beauty, similar to Kant’s philosophy. Kant perceived the beautiful as directly separate from the interest, that is, from the good, and gave it an independent meaning. According to Ahmet Hamdi Tanpınar, there are certain unchangeable building blocks that make poetry a real poem. According to him, real poetry, the real work of art, has no other goal than its own existence. His poetry is time and imagination centered, so it can be said that he has adopted the poem itself.
