Abstract
Comic poem is a work by Dino Buzzati, published in 1969, that blends literature, art and comics. Inspired by the myth of Orpheus and Eurydice, it tells the story of the singer-songwriter Orfi who, after the death of his beloved Eura, descends into the afterlife to find her. The work stands out for its poetic language and illustrated plates, which combine pictorial style and visual narration. Buzzati addresses themes such as love, death, time and lost beauty, offering an existential reflection on modern man. Comic poem is considered one of the first Italian examples of author graphic novels.
