He was a French aviator and writer.His fable Le Petit Prince has become a modern classic.In 1921 he was conscripted into the French air force, as a military pilot.In the 1930s he worked as a test pilot, a publicity attaché for AirFrance, and a reporter for Paris-Soir. In 1939, despite permanent disabilities resulting from serious flying accidents,he became a military reconnaissance pilot.After the fall of France, he left for the United States;he remained there until 1943.In 1944 he took off from an airfield in Corsica to conduct a reconnaissance mission over France and never returned.Sixty years later, wreckage raised from the seabed near Marseille was identified as belonging to his plane. It had probably been shot down by an enemy fighter, though the cause of the crash may never be known.

Abstract
The little prince tells his story by explaining to the narrator where he comes from and asks him curious questions about life on earth. Legitimate questions for him, who is master of a small planet in the galaxy, where he has a rare rose for him, three volcanoes and must defend himself from the growth of giant shrubs, the baobab. First he met a king who, accustomed to command (even if on his planet he was alone), welcomed him with the phrase “Here is a subject”. The prince, however, angry at this arrogance and bullying, decided to abandon him. The second planet was inhabited by a vain man who just saw him and hurried to say: “Ah, here is the visit of an admirer”. But since the latter heard nothing but praise, the Little Prince also left here. He then arrived on the planet of the drunkard, a confused character who claimed to drink to forget the shame of drinking. The Little Prince left the planet immediately, being very puzzled. They follow other strange planets, inhabited in order by a businessman, a man who lit his lamppost and the old geographer.
In his travels, the Little Prince also made the acquaintance of a fox, who he tamed in order to recognize, remember and make him become his unique and rare fox.
By the end of the week, the Prince had to return to his small planet to take care of his volcanoes, but especially his rose. In order to leave the earth, he had to be bitten by a snake. His body was not found the next day. And every time the narrator looked at the stars, he felt close to his golden-haired friend.
