He began his literary career by self-publishing his first novel, “El bolígrafo de gel verde” which sold over 200,000 copies. This was followed by “Lo que encontré bajo el sofá” and “El Regalo” which were increasingly successful both critically and commercially. In 2018, he published Invisible, which became a bestseller in Spain and was translated into many languages; it has become a reference point for debates on bullying and invisibility among young people. Moreno’s style is direct, emotional and socially conscious. He has also published collections of short stories for children and adults and regularly collaborates with schools and young readers. His works have sold millions of copies and he is one of the most widely read contemporary Spanish writers in the youth and crossover genres.

Abstract
“Invisible” is a moving novel that tells the story of a young boy who feels invisible to others and sometimes wishes he could stop being invisible altogether. He struggles in a world where what he wants , to be seen or to disappear, is out of his control. The narrative shows how bullying, silence and the bystanders’ indifference turn invisibility into a powerful metaphor. Through shifting perspectives of victim, classmates, teachers and family, the novel gradually reveals the impact of cruelty and neglect, and the importance of empathy and recognition.
