Abstract
El príncipe destronado is an extraordinary novel about the childhood of a boy called Quico. When Quico turns four, his sister Cris is born and he takes a back seat.
Now, he is no longer the king of the house, he is now the dethroned prince. Throughout the course of a day, from the time he wakes up screaming until he falls asleep at night, we witness his wanderings, discover his secrets and learn about his anguish.
Through this admirable child we see his whole family, his other siblings, his father, his mother, his maids, even the city and everything around him.
