Abstract

Cem had 418 stamps. He had collected them all in a huge album, arranging Turkish stamps at the beginning and foreign stamps at the end. Cem’s interest in stamp collecting was sparked by his father, who had some beautiful stamps. Cem’s father was a doctor. One night, while reviewing his stamps, the phone rang. A close friend had fallen ill and they were calling him. Apparently, it was a serious illness. Cem’s father rushed to the bedroom, woke his wife, and explained the situation. “I might not be able to come tonight,” he said, jumped into his car, and left. He was so flustered that he even forgot to put away the stamp album he had been looking at. However, every night he would lock all his notebooks in the cupboard.Since Cem was asleep, he didn’t notice the album left behind. But Cem’s stamps did. They immediately held a meeting. The moment they had been waiting for had arrived. They were about to visit the other stamps.
