She is a Galician author, editor, and cultural promoter. She earned a PhD in Journalism from the University of Santiago de Compostela with a thesis on social realism in picturebooks. After working in children’s publishing at Kalandraka and OQO, she has coordinated the International Children’s and Youth Book Fair of Pontevedra since 2017 and co-directs the cultural project Capicúa. As an educator, she has taught in the Master’s program Libro Ilustrado e Animación Audiovisual at the University of Vigo and conducts workshops and literary events for young readers. Her work centers on children’s and young adult literature, including adaptations of traditional tales translated into more than ten languages, and novels such as 22 segundos, Memoria do silencio, and A ladroa da biblioteca de Meirás.
