Abstract
The solitude of prime numbers tells the story of Alice and Mattia, two souls marked by childhood traumas that isolate them from the world. As they grow up, they recognize themselves as kindred spirits, united by a deep solitude but unable to overcome it. Like twin primes, they stay close but never together, separated by an invisible distance. Paolo Giordano sensitively explores the themes of inadequacy, pain and the inability to communicate, offering an intense portrait of human frailty and the need for love that often remains unexpressed.
