Abstract
The novel tells a section from the life of Feride Çiçekoğlu, who was detained for thought crime during the September 12 events. Feride Çiçekoğlu, who spent four years in Ulucanlar Prison in Ankara, describes the prison environment through the eyes of a boy named Barış, whom she met during her prison days. It is heartbreaking to know that what is written about the emotional content of the book is an actual event.
The book consists of letters that Barış wrote to İnci, who was released from the women’s prison where she was with her mother. Feride Çiçekoğlu says, “This booklet was written so that Barış’s letters, some dream and some real, reach his real address.”
