Damyan Petrov Damyanov was born on January 18, 1935 in Sliven. In the 1960s he worked as a literary consultant for the newspaper “Narodna Mlazed” and as an editor in the “Poetry” department of the magazine “Plamak”.
He first published poems in 1949.
