Abstract

These are 9 stories. All stories concern soldiers who fought on the fierce battlefields in Asia Minor and have returned to their homeland completely changed. Their place is the village of Lokrida in Malaysina, where the author comes from. Giak will mean blood, kinship, murder for revenge and race. Because of the closed society they live in and determined by the changes they have undergone in war, as well as according to the national law of the closed society perpetrators and victims themselves. It is awarded with two awards, the Academy of Athens Award and the Reader’s Magazine Award.
